Be a proud Hindustani...

Be a proud Hindustani.

2day was the day.. the most humid of dis month.. n at the noon tym.. it was the most romantic n pleasant… n truly speaking I wouldn’t hav enjoyed dat pleasant weather more if it wasn’t so humid b4.. dats the point.. “the bad makes us realize the importance of the gud…” !! I was just enjoyng.. n if v r enjoyng , it means v r havng fun… n frankly speaking making fun of oders is really a fun!!...

ok tell me wat will be ur response wen u hear sumone saying ‘basta’ instead of bag???... I laughed out loud.. n I know u will look at the person n give him a expression as if he is an outdated man , an antediluvian person. But gimme a break….

Wats wrong in calling it so.. don’t u know a bag is called as ‘ basta’ in hindi??.. I know I know.. u hav to search dis word deep into ur memory.. or you might hav not heard it b4.. dis is wat the present condition of a normal city living ‘hindustani’ .. I know you will prefer saying urselves as Indian rather than Hindustani… ok take another example..

As im studying medicine.. im taught all abt urine.. n i was just imagining if instead of calling it as urine our teacher start calling it 'mutr' wat will be the oders n even mine reaction...!! Chheeee.. I know this is the expression most of you be giving right now after reading this.. even,, I know for some it may be just too disgusting n they might hav quit reading.. :) but wats the problem man.. its HINDI.. n wats wrong in using hindi.. is there any difference in urine or mutr ???.. any difference?? except the language of course.. :) does calling urine instead of mutr makes any diff to urine’s material thing???.. is there any diff in their smell or anything??.. no na.. den.. y u think calling ‘ mutr’ will make it sound better??... y u think so??..

Ok ok it was the most offensive example I cud use… but I just wanna hit the bulls eye ... wat i wanna say is dat.. calling urine as mutr wont increase its nastiness!!!

U can take daily life examples… every city person nowadays prefer calling slippers not’ chappal’, shoes not ‘ juta’ , n most common - good morning n not’ supra bhaat’.. but y man??

n i know many of us might not be knowing what does  'shayan kaksh' means.. or what does 'marg'  means...

Dont you think in todays scenario people tends to get easily impressed by the one who speaks only english than the one who speaks only our desi language??

If sumone in ur class or neaby uses their own desi hindi.. u call him .. gavaar.. the obsolete man.. but y man??.. aren’t u Hindustani.. don’t u know hindi is our national language??.. even if u go thru India’s constitution.. u will find hindi is our official language..!!!.. its our mother tongue.. then y v feel shy using it??..   do u really think speaking english makes us any different??.. or it makes us cool.. ya.. dats d point.. people think speaking in English is cool.. n hindi… its old fashioned… but gimme a break.. y to prove ourselves cool v hav to talk in English??.. y??.. does copying english people language from other continent makes us cool?.. no man.. it makes us imitator.. wat I feel is dat .. a person is cool if he z confident abt himself.. confident abt his language.. n proud abt its country his people.. ok learning English n even speaking it is good.. it helps u be in touch to the people of oder countries.. but thinking it as the best.. is wrong.. our hindi is best.. wats wrong wid it.. n ‘mutr’ word is as cool as ‘urine’.. ;)

V r Indian.. v r Hindustani.. n if v think our language as outdated then no one else will respect it either.. no one .. Mind it… n nowadays people r just blindly following western , they wanna talk like dem, walk like them and act like dem.. o mister.. dere is no problem in our ‘hindustani’ culture minus its bad elements.. well everything has some bad aspects abt them.. n v r no different…. N if u don’t respect n love our language no one else will… n wat I think it starts wid disliking ur language, ur people, n finally ur country… n den it leads to brain drain… n Hindustan as a developing country don’t want its intelligent citizens to go abroad n use their intelligence in ‘their’ development not its own..

U know wat I preferred Hindustan over India.. just loving my mother tongue ‘hindi’!!!

Well I didn’t wish to submit a lecture but I love giving lecture… but no one is actually interesting hearing it :(… so wat better then submitting it as a post.. :)

So in total in this particular post I took 2 breaks.. well im human yaar.. n I need to think b4 writing.. :).. n trust me even google takes few seconds to find our search!!!...

Gud day people..
N just pray for heavy rains…!!

Khansa..

  2. Interesting analysis on word comparison in diff languages. But pls dont mind this is positive critisism, I think if you use less sms type language in post and use full english It would make reading the post easier. Also break up the post into paragraphs.Just more pleasing to the eye when reading.

  3. Hello Khansa!
Nice post; I second Angel from Heaven though.
The problem with Hindi now is the lack of quality in the material that we get - be it in any domain. Even the sample pics you've uploaded in this post contain typos. Like, for example; tell me, is there any decent Hindi Newspaper you can think of?
Also, accept it or not, English has assumed the status of the lingua franca in our country. So, it's bound to be given more importance and hence develop more. Apply for any decent job, and you should be knowing English, sometimes this is carried to the extent that it's assumed that you know 'the Queen's language'.
I also, like you, detest people who think that not knowing Hindi is 'cool'. You have taken up the issue pretty well.
Hindi is not, and can never be, outdated. And if a small minority treats it in the disgusting way that they are then, well, it's their own loss!
